SUMMARY
Research question:
Common mental disorders are frequent at work.
Work does not cause mental illness, but employees with mental
disorders or work-anxieties have difficulties with work requirements.
Which work capacity impairments become visible?
Methodology:
Interview on work ability with persons with work-
anxiety
Practical implications:
Different work-anxieties are associated with
different work ability impairments. Leaders should not diagnose
mental disorders, but keep an eye on employees who have problems
with work. Leaders can comment on visible achievement problems
and offer support.
