SUMMARY
Research question:
Which differences or similarities exist in the im-
plementation of Diversity & Inclusion across various European countries
and what explains any of these?
Methodology:
Between 2001 and today, series of practice studies
– surveys or content analyses – applied different approaches or foci
to analyse the implementation of or communication on Diversity &
Inclusion of large corporations in Europe
Practical implications:
Results show that local context factors
influence some of the country-specific approaches to Diversity. A large
part of the implementation of Diversity & Inclusion, however, reflects
regional frameworks (e.g. of the EU) or international standards of equal
opportunities.

Ausblick
Die bislang vorgenommenen internationalen Vergleiche zei-
gen, dass alleine in Europa vielschichtige Einflussfaktoren be-
stehen und entsprechend differenzierte Betrachtungen – und
weitere Studien – angestellt werden müssen. Andererseits legt
