THE RHINE NECKAR REGION WANTS TO
BECOME BETTER KNOWN
The B-region of
Rhine Neckar wants to make itself better
known to the international audience. For
2017, this means a significantly expand-
ed presence at the fair, now in Riviera 8,
B23, with municipal and private booth
partners. In advertising for investors, the
region sees itself at an advantage because
currently there is a favorable constella-
tion on the market, according to which
investors are increasingly setting their

and data platforms, neighborhood apps or
smart energy networks.
Düsseldorf will be represented this
year for the 19th time (R7.G12 in the
Riviera Hall)–making it one of the first
participants from day one. The booth was
reconceived and built last year and has an
attractive terrace opening to the marina
of Cannes. The state capital is presenting
itself with a dozen booth partners to the
international public on 136 squaremeters.
NRW WANTS TO BECOME THE NO. 1 DIG-
ITAL STATE
Representing the entire state
of North Rhine-Westphalia, NRW In-
vest wants to play the digitalization card
as a one-stop agency for investors. Anja
Kühlkamp of NRW Invest is looking for-
ward to an exchange with players from all
international real estate sectors at booth
Riviera 8, R8.D13. The head of the divi-
sion Services for Economic Promotion,
Network Economic Promotion, Retail
Space Marketing, points to the initiative
“DWNRW-Hubs”.With this strategy “Dig-
ital Economy NRW“, North Rhine-West-
phalia has already submitted a concrete
list of measures with a volume of up to
€42 million to strengthen its position as
a digital location. The goal: “We want to
become the No. 1 digital state.”
For 22 years now, the metropolitan
region of Frankfurt/Rhine-Main has ex-
