Although the direct envi- ronment has a great influence on the quality of teamwork, the design of a team-oriented working environment has hardly been researched. Methodology: The empirical basis of the study is an online survey which was subsequently evaluated using various methods, for example a correlation analysis. Practical implications: Based on the results of the analysis, the study provides recommendations for the design of a team envi- ronment and the use of specific room modules.
